Love to draw and always want to give lettering a go? Learning brush lettering is a great way to get started and confident about creating your own art, greeting cards, quotes & more.
In this beginner's workshop you will learn the fundamentals of brush lettering and a few different alphabet styles. Focusing on using brush markers, you’ll practice-practice-practice, quickly developing your confidence when drawing strokes. By the end of the class, we will talk about layout and hierarchy so that you can come up with a beautiful and balanced final piece, just in time for holiday+gift season.
People with no experience drawing are encouraged to come! We will focus on letting your hand loose and understanding the fundamentals so that you can get started and comfortable with brush lettering.
